Unable to load older save files in gta san andreas / vice city? game crashes while loading? fix it in a minute!. So basically i've owned vice city on steam for quite some time now and decided i wanted to play through it again, unfortunately when i try to launch it i get the two little intro videos and then the game crashes and i get the "gta-vc.exe has stopped working" message.. Since gta iii, vice city and san andreas all use the same engine, they might share the same bugs. when these games are installed on windows 7 or a newer os, there might be a problem with mouse clicking and moving ( mouse look ) through the game..
Please note: this is an unofficial third party application designed to input cheats into the gta vice city game. the game is not included. opens up the keyboard in game and displays a list of cheats available.. I've got iii and san andreas running like a charm, but vice city crashes after the first loading screen when starting a new game. the play store said it was compatible with the n5 so i'm thinking perhaps it's lollipop-related.. One day, i opened the game, selected my save game and hit load. it loaded about 1/3 of the bar then went black and a message came up saying "gta_sa.exe has stopped working" and closed. i uninstalled the game and got rid of everything associated with it like the mods, mod installer etc..
